It’s a fun charity event featuring a walk, run, bike and motorcycle ride. The event raises money for a variety of Bangor area nonprofits. All events this year will take place on June 30th, 2018.

Bangor Area Challenge for Charities has events for all ages and abilities. There is a walk, run, bike ride, and motorcycle ride. All events raise money for charity as you try to get the most votes for your favorite nonprofit. Raise money for a good cause, in a fun way. Registration for participants and sponsors is available on the website now.

About the Bangor Area Challenge for Charities:
The Bangor Area Challenge for Charities is an event where no matter what road you take, you will be joined by hundreds of people from around Maine who have the same passion as you do. To have an enjoyable time, achieve some athletic feats and to help their favorite nonprofit get the most votes!

This event is the brainchild of the Rotary Club of Bangor Breakfast. They wanted a fun summertime event where walkers, runners, cyclists and motorcyclist alike can have fun doing what they love. There are 5 cash prizes available to the winning nonprofits. All nonprofits who get the minimum of 50 participants will automatically get $500. Any nonprofit can participate.
