Matthew Carter, AIA, CSI, NCARB, LEED-AP, is the founder and Principal Architect. With over 25 years of experience as an architect, he practiced in such disparate locales as Alabama, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and Delaware.

About Carter Architectural Design

Founded in 2014, Carter Architectural Design, LLC (CAD), is an exciting architectural firm in the Bangor, Maine area. All good architects are generalists.

We have special expertise in the following areas:

  • Civic architecture, including municipal buildings, police, and fire stations

  • Religious architecture
  • Commercial architecture
