About Maine Child Welfare Citizen Review Panels

According to the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) and the Children’s Justice Act (CJA), three federally mandated groups of professionals and private citizens formed to explore the work of Maine’s child welfare system.
